Four Months Along

 

 Our baby girl is growing so fast I can't believe it.  She can do something new every day it seems.  She can roll over both ways now and pull at toys.  She is so happy and loves to laugh.  She cracks up at Peanut's knock knock jokes and Daddy's "Here It Comes" game.  She stops nursing sometimes to look up at me and smile and is even giving smiles via Skype now all the way to Texas!

 Those eyes light up my world!  I think she got her beautiful baby blues from her Great Grandma Gene.

 Peanut spends lots of time following her around and even when she is out of reach he finds a way to get a bit closer to her.  It's so sweet.  Best and I have noticed that wherever we are holding her in the morning he wants to be sitting right beside.  He tells me, "She really loves me."

They like to rest together in Mommy and Daddy's big bed while I get dressed.

I know I am so biased but I think she is stunning.  If you're reading this blog all the way to the end, chances are you'll agree. Smile.

I Wanna Drive the Zamboni

 

This is what dreams are made of.  He watches the Zamboni. He sings the song.  He has small, large, stuffed and remote controlled Zambonis.  But until today it was just worship from afar...
I give you:  PEANUT RIDES THE ZAMBONI!!!

Getting strapped in by Head Coach and rink "manager man" Mr. Pete.  To whom I am so thankful for making my little boy's dream come true. Smile. Pete told Best and I he only had one rule: He doesn't stop.  So we were crossing our fingers that Peanut wouldn't get scared.  He didn't.  Not even a little bit.  He was in heaven.

 In the above picture you can see that Peanut is actually helping to pump the water while he waves to us.  Multi-tasking on his first ride.  That's our boy!

Proud Daddy and son after the ride.  We look forward to visiting Hockey and Sons every year.  It is such a great place for families who love the sport.  We always have fun and this year was the best so far.  From the Zamboni ride to the oohing and ahhing over our new little princess it was a great day.  We miss you Best and can't wait to have you back home tomorrow!
