He made himself right at home in Gammie and Papa's condo on the 20th floor. No fear of heights here!
Papa and Peanut enjoying a book. Just like we were at home...except they are on the patio, yee ha! Sun!
We made it down to the beach quickly.
Here is what he is pointing at. He caught boat fever while we were there. They are beautiful.
We took a day trip to Seaside with Gammie for lunch and shopping. So much fun.Peanut got about 100 compliments on his hat. I am glad I bought it. You can never have too many hats. Especially when you are in the Sunshine State!
We went to Niceville to visit Aunt Sherry. So good to see her and she was happy to meet Peanut. He felt quite at home there too. "Jumping" off the entry step (which was probably about 2 inches high). If you have never seen Peanut jump you should ask him to demonstrate. If you have seen him then you know how funny it is. Smile.
One day Gammie and Papa took us to the park and Chic-fil-a. Reminded me of visiting my parents in Texas. Great minds think alike!
We had so much fun and it was hard to say goodbye, but Best was here at home waiting for us and we missed him like crazy. Peanut and I ended up having a 5 hour layover on the way home at the Atlanta airport, but we had fun shopping and eating and meeting new people. His happy attitude is downright contagious. I think it's all the love he is soaking up from all of us. I know we both came back from Florida with happy hearts and nutured souls. Thank you Gammie and Papa. We love you so.
