About Town...

Peanut is enjoying the holiday season and so am I.  Seems every errand takes a bit longer as we detour down some random street to see if they have any interesting decorations out.  We are finding plenty this year and Peanut is getting quite good at his "OOOHHH's" and "AAAWWWWs".  This past weekend we headed to the arboretum to check out their Christmas decor and listen to the holiday choir.  We did admire the poinsettia tree and other floral decor:
but hands down the cafe play house was the favorite of the day.

In and out, round and round, as fast as he could go!
Reminds me of the Blue Bell slogan "We eat all we can and we sell the rest."  Pretty sure that's what would happen with Peanut in charge!
The cutest little girl just about the same age was playing while Peanut had lunch.  He had so much fun watching her.  I enjoyed talking to her Mom and Dad and we all agreed that this is SUCH a fun age!
Santa was downstairs, but Peanut is none too fond of him up close so we keep our distance.  He does seem curious though, as to why those other children are so trustworthy...hmmm..there must be more to this.  Here he is peeking around a tree to see him...at about 40 feet away. Smile.

 "Hey! These are plastic!"

He is telling me he hears something.  The door had opened and we could hear the choir performing inside.  Peanut is learning to sing and it warms my heart that he enjoys music so much.  Hope you get to enjoy some sounds of the season too.  Have a great week friends and family.
