Heart of the City

          As you know, Peanut loves the Little Gym.  The activities are fun and he has learned lots of new moves, but the very best thing is the new friendships we've made.  Peanut and I were so happy to be invited along to an outdoor playdate at Heart of the City today.  We had a great time and will be back soon.  (With an extra change of clothes for me next time!)

            We played in the water features that included wading pools, fountains, and sprays that the kids could run through.  Peanut enjoyed it but was a bit taken aback when he got his first mouthful of water.  Wish we had some pictures of that, but it was all hands on deck keeping these toddlers safe while they played.
            We did eventually get hungry and had a nice picnic lunch and mommy-chat while the kids ate and shared snacks.  I love that Peanut is learning to share and these kids like to eat as much as he does!

Peanut almost never sleeps in the car anymore because he is too busy looking around or talking to me, but he was fast asleep when we pulled in the garage this afternoon.  Lots of sun, water, and running around can really wear a kid out...and his mom.  Smile.
